2023 Players Championship: Day 2 tee times and TV schedule

The PGA Tour’s flagship event on its schedule, the 2023 Players Championship started on Thursday, March 9. The event, featuring a stacked field of the world’s best players – 43 of the top 50 – saw event debutant Chad Ramey take the early lead.

Featuring eight past champions and six FedEx Cup winners, the event saw Ramey stun the fans gathered at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. Top names including Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, and Scottie Scheffler fell flat in their attempts to get off to a good start. Ramey carded eight birdies and no bogeys for an opening-round 8-under 64 to lead Collin Morikawa by one shot.

It’ll be interesting to see how the 30-year-old American holds up on Day 2 against the charges of other big names.
