2023 Puerto Rico Open: Best bets and odds explained 

The 2023 Puerto Rico Open is all set to commence this week alongside the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Both tournaments are scheduled to take place this weekend. While the Arnold Palmer Invitational is a star-studded field, several low-ranking players will kickstart the Puerto Rico Open.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from Thursday, March 2 to Sunday, March 5, at the Genesis Reserve Golf Course. Despite taking a back seat to the Palmer series, Puerto Rico still has plenty of surprises for the fans.

Several golfers, including Tony Finau and Viktor Hovland, started their journey after winning the Puerto Rico Open.

The tournament features rising stars including Ben Martin and Nate Lashley, who are the fan favorites in the odds tally.

According to Sportsline's predicted leaderboard, hopes are pretty high for four-time PGA Tour winner Scott Piercy, which is pretty surprising as the golfer has struggled with his performance and barely finished in the top 10 for a while now.

Another surprise from the expert's picks is Dylan Wu. Wu is making a strong run to lift the trophy this year and has a much better chance of winning the title.

Dylan Wu recorded his first win on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019. He is looking for his first PGA Tour victory.
