2023 Valspar Championship: Day 1 tee times and TV schedule

The Florida Swing of the PGA Tour ends this week with the 2023 Valspar Championship. The event, scheduled as the 21st of the PGA Tour 2022-23 schedule, will tee off on Thursday, March 16. Scheduled to be played at the Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead course in Palm Harbor, the event will have 144 players competing for the $8.1 million prize purse.

The Valspar Championship is being headlined by the likes of Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Matt Fitzpatrick, among others. Back-to-back defending champion Sam Burns is another big name on the field.

The PGA Tour event held in the Sunshine State will be the last big stop ahead of next week’s Masters. It is also pertinent to note that several big names, including the likes of Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy, have taken the week off to rest for the upcoming major.

With the top three out of the way, it’ll be interesting to see how the 2023 Valspar Championship develops. The event will tee off on Thursday at 7:40 am with Patrick Rodgers, Taylor Moore and Alex Smalley on the first tee.
