Day 1 of the 2023 Valspar Championship ended on Friday with Ryan Brehm taking the early lead along with Stephan Jaeger and Adam Schenk. An eventful Thursday in Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead course in Palm Harbor saw a good round from Jordan Spieth as well.
The $8.1 million event is the final stop of the PGA Tour’s Florida Swing. Interestingly, the event had all its favorites, including Sam Burns, Justin Thomas, and Keegan Bradley struggling outside the top 10. Tommy Fleetwood will also be eyeing a strong outing on Day 2 of the competition.
The Friday leg of the competition will start at 7:40 am with Nate Lashley, Brian Stuard, and Robby Shelton teeing off.
