2024 Black Desert Championship prize money payout: How much did each golfer win from the $7,500,000 purse?

Matt McCarty won the Black Desert Championship on Sunday, October 13 with a score of 23-under par. McCarthy collected the lion's share of the $7,500,00 prize purse. The tournament was the third PGA Tour start of his career.

McCarty's paycheck for winning the Black Desert Championship was $1.35 million. Nineteen other players earned more than $100,000 for their performance on the course.

Matt McCarty has created history several times in recent weeks. In less than three months, he became the 13th player to earn a spot on the PGA Tour after winning three times on the Korn Ferry Tour.

The 26-year-old is also only the second player to win on the PGA Tour in the same year of his 3-time Korn Ferry Tour winner promotion (Jason Gore, 2005).

"I knew if I played well this week after last week then I could maybe have a chance but to do it like this, I don’t know how you could expect this, to be honest," McCarty said after his victory at the Black Desert Championship (via Golfweek).

In addition to his paycheck, the win at the Black Desert Championship gives McCarty a two-year PGA Tour exemption and 500 points in the FedEx Cup standings, which puts him in 95th place after just two events this season.

He also qualified for The Sentry 2025, the first Signature Event of the upcoming season, and will receive invitations to The Masters and the PGA Championship.
