2024 British Masters: Top players, prize purse and more explored

The 2024 British Masters, hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, will take place from August 29 to September 1 at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield, England. This prestigious tournament will feature a star-studded field, including Luke Donald, Rasmus Hojgaard, and LIV Golf's Tyrrell Hatton.

The British Masters is a unique tournament on the DP World Tour, as the host of the tournament keeps changing. A leading golfer from the Tour selects a venue to host the tournament. Ian Poulter was the inaugural host in 2015, choosing Woburn Golf Club.

Sir Nick Faldo has been hosting the British Masters at The Belfry since 2023 and will continue to do so till 2026. The course is well known within the golf community, having hosted the Ryder Cup four times in the past. This will be the fourth year that the British Masters will be held at the Belfry.

Daniel Hillier is the defending champion of the event, having won the 2023 edition with a score of -10. The British Masters is a regular tournament that follows the standard 72-hole format. Golfers will also be playing for Ryder Cup points, with 1500 points up for grabs for the winner.

The tournament will be live-streamed on Sky Sports Golf and Golf Channel throughout all four days.
