Scottie Scheffler leads the PGA Tour power rankings for the 2024 Hero World Challenge. The event, hosted by Tiger Woods, will take place at Albany Golf Course in Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas, from Thursday, December 5, to Sunday, December 8.

The World No. 1 comes into the Hero World Challenge after a 12-week break following the Tour Championship. The American golfer has a terrific record at the tournament. In both 2021 and 2022, he finished as runner-up to Viktor Hovland by one stroke and two strokes, respectively. Hovland won't be competing at the tournament because of injury.

Last year, Scheffler won the tournament by three strokes over Sepp Straka. He has odds of +250 via BetMGM Sportsbook. Further, he is on a dream run this season. In 19 starts, he has had seven wins and two runner-up finishes.

Justin Thomas, 14th in the FedEx Cup standings, is second on the list. He has a great record at the tournament as well. In the last four starts, he has had four top-5 finishes. He finished third last year.

Further, he comes from his best finish this year, a T2 at the ZOZO Championship. Thomas has played 20 tournaments on the PGA Tour this year and made 16 cuts and had six top-10 finishes. He has second-best odds of +900 at the tournament. He'd look to win a tournament to end his season on a good note.
