Where will the ISPS Handa Australian Open be held?

The event will be played across two courses in the Melbourne Sandbelt at the Kingston Heath & The Victoria Golf Club. This is one of the most renowned courses in Australia and will host the ISPS Handa Australian Open once again.

The 18-hole facility has 7,102 yards of golf to be played. It is a public course and was opened in 1925, making it one of the oldest that the DP World Tour plays on.

Designers of this course include Des Soutar, Mick Morcom (1925), Mike Clayton (2002); Mike Clayton, Geoff Ogilvy, Mike Cocking & Ashley Mead in 2010; and most recently, Mike Cocking, Geoff Ogilvy, Ashley Mead in 2019.

Kingston Heath is often attributed to famed designer Alister MacKenzie, but it was Australian pro golfer Soutar who designed the course in 1925. MacKenzie did contribute to the bunkering the year after, but that's the extent of his contributions.

Under the recent supervision of Mike Cocking of Ogilvy, Cocking & Mead (OCM), the official tournament tees, a few bunkers, and some green complexes have been remodeled. Additionally, a short course and 19th hole were added to the venue that will host the 2024 ISPS Handa Australian Open.
