Last Sunday, LIV Golf declared Jon Rahm the winner of the league’s Individual Championship in Chicago. Following that, the league eyes for its venture in Dallas. The team championship will take place at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton from 20 to 22 September.

After the LIV Golf Chicago, all 13 teams will have their final standings in the LIV list according to the points they bagged from the regular season LIV events. These teams will finally face off against each other at the Dallas event in a knockout format that combines strokeplay and matchplay.

The Team Championship will be a three-round event. The top three teams in the LIV standings after the Chicago tournament will get byes and go directly to the semifinals. These teams are Crushers GC (208.5 points), Legion XIII (200 points), and Ripper GC (151 points).

The remaining ten teams will compete in the quarterfinals. Here, the teams seeded four to seven will get to choose their opponents for the first day of the team match-play. Each matchup will consist of three points. Two singles matches worth one point each and one foursome alternate-shot match worth another point.

Finally, five winners of the quarterfinals join the top three teams in the semifinals. Teams 1-3 can choose their opponents. The semifinals will have the same format as the quarterfinals.
