2024 Lotte Championship prize purse breakdown: How much will each golfer earn from the $3 million prize purse

The Lotte Championship, one of the final tournaments of the 2024 LPGA Tour season, is upon us. This weekend, some of the best golfers in the world will converge in Hawaii for a chance to take home the prestigious trophy or a share of the $3 million prize purse. These numbers will ultimately be adjusted in the case of ties. Grace Kim secured her first-ever LPGA Tour title here in 2023 and she is back to defend her crown. Kim beat both Yu Jin Sung and Yu Liu in a playoff last year, and those two are back to compete again as well.

Ayaka Furue, Brooke Henderson, Jin Young Ko, Marina Alex, Jasmine Suwannapura, Hinako Shibuno, Hyo Joo Kim, and others, will come to Hoakalei Country Club in Ewa Beach, Hawaii to try and win a piece of that prize purse.

This year's prize purse is higher than previously. The $3 million total is up from $2 million the year before. Kim, who won in 2023, earned $282,976. This year, if she wins, she will take home $450,000.

This is the penultimate tournament of the season. This week and next see the final two events before the LPGA Tour finale, the CME Group Tour Championship. That means, aside from it being one of the last chances at a significant payday, this is one of the final opportunities to score points for the Race to CME.

Aside from a piece of the Lotte Championship's $3 million purse, 500 Race to CME points are available, so this is a very important tournament for a lot of the players in the field this weekend. A few are clinging to spots just within the top-60 threshold.
