The 2024 Paris Olympics men's golf tournament is currently underway at the Le Golf National. The event has 60 golfers from 32 countries competing for the gold medal, with World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler headlining the field.

The reigning Masters champion is joined by the likes of two-time Major champion Xander Schauffele and World No. 3 Rory McIlroy on the greens. Interestingly, the trio are also the best picks for the event. The top three golfers are joined by Sweden’s Ludvig Aberg and Spanish LIV Golf star Jon Rahm in the 2024 Olympics' top five, according to CBS Sports.

As per the event odds, Scottie Scheffler is predicted to win the Paris Olympics. Schauffele, who won gold in Tokyo by beating Slovakia’s Rory Sabbatini, fails to defend his medal and finishes runner-up above McIlroy and Rahm. Team USA’s fourth member Collin Morikawa sits sixth on the predictions table.

The American is followed by Norway’s Viktor Hovland, Great Britain’s Tommy Fleetwood, South Korea’s Tom Kim and Chilean Joaquin Niemann in the top 10. It is pertinent to note that golf at the Olympics follows a standard 72-hole format. It’ll be interesting to see which golfer comes out on top at the Le Golf National.
