Dan Bradbury carded a bogey-free fourth round with five birdies to win the Open de France, amid a battle that involved at least 11 players with a shot at the title.
Bradbury himself acknowledged the surprise of finding that he was in a position to win the title. Here's what he had to say for the DP World Tour news service:
"It hasn’t sunk in at all. The goal this week was to make the cut so I didn’t have to go to Korea (needing to) keep my card."
Bradbury is in his second season on the DP World Tour. The Open de France is the second title of his career, as he won the 2022 Joburg Open, his third tournament as a professional and the first on his schedule for the 2022-2023 season.
