2024 PGA Championship weather update: Will bad weather delay Sunday start at Valhalla?

The play on the first and third days of the 2024 PGA Championship witnessed a slight delay due to fog. However, the weather was pleasant otherwise, with no rain interference. Similarly, the sky is expected to be clear on Sunday (May 19) as well.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will be the hottest day of the week at Valhalla Golf Club. The maximum temperature is expected to go as high as 86 degrees Fahrenheit. As per Acu Weather, the sky will be clear, and the northeast winds will blow at 9 km/h with gusts up to 13 km/h. The evening is also expected to be pleasant, with the temperature dropping to as low as 62 degrees Fahrenheit.

Currently, Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa hold a one-stroke lead over Sahith Theegala, with just 18 holes remaining at the 2024 PGA Championship. Shane Lowry, Viktor Hovland and Bryson DeChambeau are tied for fifth at two strokes back.
