The 2024 Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final is set to tee off on Thursday, October 31 at the Club de Golf Alcanada in Mallorca. The four-day competition will see 46 golfers compete to secure the 20 DP World Tour cards. Apart from the Tour cards, the golfers also receive a cut from the $542,600 (€500,000) prize purse.
The Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final’s stacked field features a list of European Tour and PGA Tour regulars. The event, headlined by Road to Mallorca ranking topper John Parry and second-placed Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, will pay a $92,250 (€85,000) paycheck to the winner.
While the champion takes the major share of the purse, the runner-up will settle for a $58,679 paycheck. Third-placed podium finisher gets $36,835 for their efforts.
While only 20 players get to claim the life-changing DP World Tour cards for the 2025 season, all top 45 golfers on the final leaderboard will receive prize money paychecks. The golfer finishing last on the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final’s 45-man leaderboard will fly back home with $2,964 added to their bank.
It is pertinent to note that the 2024 Challenge Tour season offered a total of $8.6M in prize money. In comparison, the DP World Tour season had $148.5M on offer along with the PGA Tour card to the top 10 players.
