2024 Senior Open Championship top players
Defending Champion Alexander Cejka is one of the favorites to clinch the title again. He won last year's tournaments in playoffs against Padraig Harrington with a birdie on the second extra hole. However, since then no senior golfer has successfully defended the Major title.
Harrington has been runner-up in the Senior Open for two consecutive years. In 2022, he lost to Clarke by one shot in Gleneagles. He'll look to finally win the title. As per FanDuel Sportsbook, he has odds of +430 going into the tournament. Doug Barron, who won the Tradition, will also be in the field for the competition.
Other players with the best odds at Senior Open are Steven Alker, Bernhard Langer, and K.J. Choi. The field for the tournament also has other notable golfers such as Stephen Ames, Miguel Angel Jimenez, and Richard Green. The tournament can be watched on Golf Channel and Peacock.
