2024 Solheim Cup Sunday singles head to head matches explored

Following two days of foursome and fourball matches at the 2024 Solheim Cup, the focus now shifts to the singles matches on Sunday, September 15. The head-to-head pairings have been announced ahead of the Sunday finale.

World No. 1 Nelly Korda will take on the highest-ranked English golfer Charley Hull in the day's first match. The duo will tee off at 8:50 am ET on Sunday. Korda has gone undefeated so far, while Hull has had mixed results with two defeats and two wins.

World No. 2 Lilia Vu will compete against Albane Valenzuela at 10:10 am ET. Both players have had a negative record this week. While Vu has won just one match against two losses, Valenzuela faced defeat in the only match she competed.

Linn Grant and Jennifer Kupcho will be in action in the last singles match of the day. The duo will tee off at 10:40 am ET on Sunday.

Unlike the one-sided first day of the 2024 Solheim Cup, the second day was more competitive as Europe and the US collected four points each on Saturday, September 14. The visitors were able to tie both the foursome and fourball sessions.

Before the last two matches of the day, the US was ahead 4-2 for the day. However, Team Europe made a brilliant comeback with two straight wins, concluding the day at 4-4.

The current scoreline, however, still favors the hosts, as they lead 10-6 over Europe. If the US succeeds in adding 4.5 points more on Sunday, this will be their first win since 2017.
