2024 Solheim Cup tickets: Availability, prices and more explored

The 2024 Solheim Cup will be played at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia, from September 13-15. However, the venue will open its doors as part of the event on September 10.

The basic ticket options available to fans are as follows:

• Practice Round Good Any One Day Ticket (Tuesday – Thursday) - $55
• Competition Round Good Any One Day Ticket (Friday – Sunday) - $52 to $93
• Weekly Ticket (Tuesday – Sunday) - $220

According to the event's official website, tickets are still available in all three categories. Each buyer can purchase up to 24 tickets.

The Solheim Cup also has several special and premium options. These are (via solheimcup.com):

• Weekly Solheim Pavilion Ticket ($592): Offers weekly access (Tuesday – Sunday) to the tournament grounds and the Solheim Pavilion, a climate-controlled on-course venue offering elevated views of holes 3, 4, 13, & 14. Includes access to private restrooms, and upgraded food and beverage options (available for purchase). It has a Junior option ($100).
• Daily Captains Club Ticket (Wednesday – Sunday) ($515): Single-day access to tournament grounds and the Captains Club, a climate-controlled hospitality venue on-course with elevated views of holes 5 and 7. Includes private restrooms and continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks; beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. It has a Junior option ($150).
• Group ticket packages: Special offer for groups of 10 or more.
• Military tickets: Members of the active or reserve military are offered free tickets on training days and 50% off on competition days.

The European and American teams that will play in the 2024 Solheim Cup became official a week ago when both captains announced their free selections.

The European team will retain the Solheim Cup trophy even though both teams finished tied in 2023 at Finca Cortesin, Spain. Europe had won in 2021 and the rules state that in the event of a tie, the team holding the trophy retains it.

The 2024 edition will be the 19th edition of the event. The United States has won 10 editions to Europe's eight. The 2023 edition is the only tie in history. Europe has held the trophy since 2019, when they won at Gleneagles. They repeated the triumph two years later in Inverness.
