Day 3 of the 2024 Tour Championship ended with Scottie Scheffler in the lead. The FedExCup leader birdied four of his last five holes Saturday at East Lake and finished with a 5-under 66. He kept Collin Morikawa at bay and took one step closer to winning the massive $25 million FedExCup prize.

Notably, PGA Tour officials announced a change in the final round tee times of the Tour Championship. According to the officials, the round will be played from 10:15 am to 1 pm ET due to ‘the potential for inclement weather’ on Sunday. The first tee will be taken by the pairing of Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Tom Hoge at 10:21 am ET.

The pairing of Chris Kirk and Billy Horschel will follow the starters at 11:32 am, while Aaron Rai and Robert MacIntyre follow them at 11:43 am. Event leader and PGA Tour player of the Year favorite Scheffler will continue campaign at 1:05 pm ET on Sunday, taking the last tee of the day alongside Morikawa.

The leader’s group will follow the pairing of Sahith Theegala and Player of the Year competitor Xander Schauffele, teeing off at 12:54 pm. They sit third and fourth on the leaderboard respectively. Wyndham Clark and Adam Scott tee off before them at 12:43 pm.

For the unversed, the Tour Championship is the finale of the FedExCup playoffs, and the winner will be announced after Sunday’s play. Scheffler will return to play for the FedExCup's whopping $25 million winner's prize. Meanwhile, the second placed golfer will win $12.5 million and third place pays $7.5 million.
