The Tour Championship will begin this week, and it marks the culmination of an epic season on the PGA Tour. With it being the last official tournament for a while, fans may want to watch the events unfold. Here's everything they need to know about how to do just that.
Tour Championship Television
Primarily, NBC and the Golf Channel will be golf fans' homes for the tournament. They will have the coverage from Thursday through Sunday's final round. Here's the official schedule, with all times being Eastern Time Zone:
- Thursday-Friday: 1-6 pm (Golf Channel)
- Saturday: 1-2:30 pm (Golf Channel), 2:30-7 pm (NBC)
- Sunday: noon-1:30 pm (Golf Channel), 1:30-6 pm. (NBC)
There are also some special programming events scheduled throughout Championship Week, which began on Monday. On Tuesday, Brandt Snedeker will be honored as the Payne Stewart Award winner. That will be on Golf Channel at 7 pm EST.
On Wednesday at 2:30 pm EST, live footage from the practice range, which includes expert analysis and betting tips, will be shown off as well. The Creator Classic will commence at 4 pm EST on August 28 as well.
Live streams
There will also be live streams for the Tour Championship. ESPN+, which usually has streaming of most golf tournaments, will follow this schedule. There are four options. Once again, all times are in EST:
Additionally, Fubo.tv is a live television surrogate. It provides live channels for a monthly subscription as if it were a cable package, but you can watch on your phone instead. This costs $74.99 a month, but there's a one-week free trial for first-time users.
Radio for the Tour Championship
There are two main options to listen to the PGA Tour's season finale. First, on SiriusXM Radio. Second, PGATOUR.com/liveaudio will also have the broadcast. Here is the full schedule:
- Thursday-Friday: noon-6 pm
- Saturday: 2-7 pm
- Sunday: 1-6 pm
Tune in at those times to catch the action on your radio or computer.
