2024 Women's Scottish Open: Round 3 tee times and pairing explored

The second round of the 2024 Women's Scottish Open concluded on Friday, August 16. Only 69 of 144 players made the Friday cut and will play the weekend at the Dundonald Links Golf Course in Troon, Scotland.

Megan Khang and Minjee Lee are both jointly leading the Women's Scottish Open following the end of the second round. They both have an aggregate score of 8 under 136. Lee scored 67 in the first round while she scored 69 in the second. Talking about her second round, she said (via LPGA):

"I feel like I was playing really solid. It was really windy out there, even more so than yesterday afternoon. Yeah, I feel like I just put myself in good positions when I made my birdies, and you know, try to make the least amount of bogeys as possible. So yeah, I think I'm doing pretty good out there."

Talking about the windy conditions at Dundonald Links, Khang remarked that she is enjoying them, and said:

"Honestly I'm really trying to have a lot of fun out there. It's not often I'm hitting a 7-iron to a 116 pin. So it's a lot of the stuff I'm really comfortable with how my ball-striking is."

Charley Hull and Lauren Coughlin are tied for third with a score of -6. Lydia Ko is positioned fifth and Allisen Corpuz is positioned sixth. Defending Champion Celine Boutier is tied at 54th with a score of 4-over.

Several notable names failed to make the Friday cut at the Women's Scottish Open including Ally Ewing and Linn Grant. None of the Scottish players have advanced to the weekend including Gemma Dryburgh, Kylie Henry, and Laura Beveridge.

The winner of the 2024 Women's Scottish Open will win $300,000 from the total tournament prize purse of $2 million.
