2024 Zozo Championship field: Defending champion Collin Morikawa headlines alongside Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler

The FedEx Cup Fall series schedule will continue next week in Japan with the 2024 Zozo Championship. The first of three straight international events is set to tee on Thursday, October 24, at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba.

The upcoming edition of the Zozo Championship will have a 78-player headlined by reigning champion Collin Morikawa. The World No. 4 golfer will also be the highest-rated player at the event as Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy continues to stay away from the FedEx Fall schedule events.

Competing for the first time after a runner-up finish in the Tour Championship, Morikawa will be eyeing a big win in Japan. However, he will have some strong competition from PGA Tour rivals. The 27-year-old American will join the likes of Rickie Fowler, Joel Dahmen, Max Homa, Will Zalatoris, Justin Thomas and Sahith Theegala in the four-day event.

Japanese national hero Hideki Matsuyama will also compete along with a list of other native players, including Ryo Ishikawa and Naoyuki Kataoka.

It's pertinent to note that the Zozo Championship doesn’t follow the traditional cut format, and all 78 players will compete till the end for the $8,500,000 prize purse on offer. The champion golfer will take home a whopping $1,53,000 paycheck.
