A couple of weeks ago, LPGA star Charley Hull shared a throwback photograph of her 14-year-old self. On Saturday, October 5, she continued the trend and posted a photograph of her 16-year-old self.

Charley Hull is a two-time winner on the LPGA Tour and a multiple-time Solheim Cup winner. She last played at the Kroger Queen City Championship, where she tied for 19th.

On Saturday, the 28-year-old English golfer shared her throwback picture on her Instagram story.

"Throwback to 16 year old me 😂," she wrote in caption.

Last month, Hull was part of the European Solheim Cup squad in Gainesville, where the host US team posted a 15.5-12.5 win against them. Despite the disappointing team result, she closed the tournament on a high note, handing Nelly Korda her only loss in the event. Hull posted a 6 & 4 win against the World No. 1 golfer.

At what age did Charley Hull turn professional?

Notably, Charley Hull turned professional in January 2013, when she was two months shy of turning 17. However, she had already made a name for herself in her amateur career. She started playing golf at a young age and soon gained recognition.

At just nine, Hull won an 18-hole handicap event, beating adults with a score of 28 Stableford points. The following year, she played alongside Morgan Pressel in the Open Championship Pro-Am.

Charley Hull won several events as an amateur, which helped her break into the top 10 of the World Amateur Golf Ranking, reaching as high as No. 3. In 2012, she was part of the Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup team that defeated the U.S. 10.5–9.5. That same year, she played in her first-ever Women's Open, where she was tied for third after the first round.

In the first year of her professional career, Hull recorded five straight runner-up finishes. Besides, she also made five more top-10 finishes that season. For her consistent performance throughout the year, she was awarded LET Rookie of the Year for 2012.

In her nearly 12 years of professional career, Hull has won twice on the LPGA Tour and three times on the Ladies European Tour. Her last win came at the Volunteers of America Classic two years ago.

Hull also has nine top-10 finishes in major championships, including two runner-up finishes, both of which came last year. She has also been part of seven Solheim Cups and has an overall win-loss-tie record of 15-9-3.
