The two sporting stars first competed in Bryson DeChambeau's Break 50 Challenge, and soon after, Tom Brady, who has a net worth of $300 million (as per Celebrity Net Worth), released a video on his YouTube channel with the LIV golfer.
For Brady's channel, they participated in a long drive contest in which DeChambeau wasn't allowed to use his driver. Tom Brady was impressive with his swing stats, achieving 121 mph clubhead speed, and covering a distance of 333 yards.
He defeated DeChambeau in the challenge. The American golfer achieved 175 mph ball speed, matching the speed of Brady, but his first shot went a distance of 282 yards. They played a few more shots, with Brady having an edge over DeChambeau. On the fifth shot, the LIV golfer's shot went 321 yards, but the NFL star drove his shot 323 yards, ultimately outdriving the golfer.
Brady said,
"Just for the record, and it's official. I outdrove Bryson DeChambeau," Brady said (8:18).
However, both of them then played one more shot, with DeChambeau using his driver to hit 356 yards, against Tom Brady's 323 yards. He finally outdrove Brady with his driver, but the NFL star hilariously called it "unofficial." Brady said,
"That one is not going on the channel. We're done. That one's official, but it's unofficial" (at 9:31).

Bryson DeChambeau drops the finale episode of Break 50 with Tom Brady

For the challenge, Brady and DeChambeau tried to complete 18 holes within 50 shots. The duo discussed their experiences and unsung stories in their careers as they played. They also discussed DeChambeau's remarkable victory at the 2024 US Open at Pinehurst No. 2, his second Major title.
Speaking about the victory, DeChambeau said to Brady (via The Mirror):
"I couldn't have written a fairytale story better than that one for me. Getting up and down, looking up knowing my dad was watching. That was really cool. It gets me emotional every time. I just wish he would have seen it. We grew up watching the 1999 US Open, Payne Stewart doing his [celebration] after his putt, the famous stance he did."
