Defending champion Scottie Scheffler, World No. 2 Jon Rahm, and No. 3 Rory McIlroy are favorites to win the 2023 Masters. Cameron Smith, Patrick Cantlay, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, and Jordan Spieth are others to watch out for at the event. While the big names stand out for fans, golfers like Si Woo Kim and Alex Noren remain the top sleeper picks for the event.

Si Woo Kim is too good a golfer to be named under sleeper picks. However, the golfer’s recent run of form has put him on top of the four-person list. According to PGA Tour experts, the South Korean golfer comes into the event with odds of +200 to finish in the top 20. The golfer ranked 39th in the Official World Golf Rankings will be eyeing a top-20 finish and in turn a place in the top-25 of the rankings.

The 27-year-old 2017 Players Championship winner is 5-for-6 at The Masters with three top 25s under his belt. Having won the Sony Open in Hawaii, it’ll be interesting to see if he tops his best finish in the majors this week.

2) Alex Noren

Alex Noren is one of the perfect picks on the sleepers list on The Masters field. According to experts, the Swede comes in with a +375 odds to finish in the top 20. Sitting 41st in the OWGR, the 40-year-old will be eyeing a strong performance this weekend.

It is pertinent to note that this will be the golfer’s first Augusta National outing since he finished T62 in his third appearance in 2019. Having never broken par in eight rounds, the DP World Tour will look to make a mark in the prestigious event this time around.

3) Cameron Champ

Cameron Champ comes into the 2023 Masters with +500 odds to finish in the top 20. Champ qualified for the event solely because of his T10 finish last year. Having debuted in 2020, the 27-year-old California golfer is 3-for-3 with a pair of top 20 finishes. The golfer has struggled on the field this year and will be keen on retaining form this weekend.

4) Adam Svensson

Adam Svensson is another name worthy of the sleeper pick. Despite being a Masters debutant, the 29-year-old Canadian looks like a solid player on the Augusta National field. Having broken through at The RSM Classic to conclude the final fall portion of the wraparound era, Svensson completed a super-season on the PGA Tour, finishing T9 at Riviera and a T13 at TPC Sawgrass.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Swedish golfer fairs on his Augusta debut.
