Golf legend Lee Trevino played this week in the Pro-Am ahead of the PGA Tour Champions' Simmons Bank Championship. He shared his impressive daily golf routine ahead of teeing off.

The main tournament will be held at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock, Arkansas. Trevino, one of the legends in the game of golf, has 92 wins in his professional golf career. The golf legend said (via PGA Tour Champions),

"Every day, I go to the golf course seven days a week. I get there about 10. I'll chip a little bit, putt a little bit. I'll hit five balls with each club in my bag, then I'll go home. I usually get home about 11:30. So I've got the whole day to do nothing, that’s the whole thing."

In another video posted by PGA Tour Champions, Trevino can be seen practicing golf along with Mike Weir and other golfers.

The post was captioned,

"84 years young. Lee Trevino is the best! @SBGolfChamp"

He says in the video that he still plays three holes once a month with Australian golfer David Graham.

In conversation with the media, Trevino also shared a funny incident regarding the transition to Champions Tour at the event. Golfers over 50 years old play on the Champions Tour. Trevino said the story was from when both he and Jack Nicklaus were turning 50 around the same time. He said (via Golfweek),

"I actually talked to Nicklaus’ manager and the wife, Nicklaus' wife. You can ask Barbara. I told Barbara, I said, 'Listen, for every tournament that I enter, if you keep Jack at home, I will send you a dozen roses.' That year I played 38 tournaments and I sent Barbara Nicklaus 30 dozen roses because she kept him home 30 of the tournaments. I was leading money winner that year."

Nicklaus is considered to be the greatest player in the game of golf, holding a record 18 Major titles, the most by any player in the sport's history.
