Rose Zhang is giving back to the game of golf as she is all set to host a junior golf tournament at Stanford University, which is her alma mater. The tournament will take place from February 16-19th next year.

Zhang shared a post about this on her Instagram with a long caption and said it is a full-circle moment.

"The Fortinet Stanford Invitational hosted by… me 🙈🙉. A complete full-circle moment. The AJGA has a special place in my heart as I spent my junior golf years not only playing against the best junior golfers on a global scale but also creating everlasting friendships and bonds."
"Keep swiping for a few of those little mem gems 🤩. To be hosting an AJGA invitational at Stanford too, just wow. Beyond excited to watch the most talented junior players compete at a place I call home 🌲❤️. Mark your calendars: February 16-19, 2025."

The 21-year-old has become one of the most well-known golfers on the LPGA Tour. She joined the tour in 2023 and has already registered two wins and made around $2.5 million as official prize money.

Rose Zhang's performance on the LPGA Tour this year

Rose Zhang had a decent year on the LPGA Tour this season. She registered a victory and five top-10 finishes in 21 starts and made 16 cuts. Zhang won the Cognizant Founders Cup earlier this year and eventually finished 21st in the season-long Race to CME Globe rankings.

During the post-round press conference of The Annika, Zhang talked about her experience as a pro golfer and said she now understands what tour life is like and has matured.

"I feel like I'm now more understanding of what Tour life is like, and I'm much more mature in that sense. I can't say that my game is exactly the same as last year, and I can't say that last year's game was better or vice versa," Zhang said.
