The CBS Sports reporter and golf analyst Amanda Balionis has extended further help to those affected by to LA fires. Taking to Instagram, she announced a sum amount of $30,000 for various charities.
Balionis has been at the forefront of helping areas that have been ravaged by LA fires. Earlier this month, she also announced on Instagram about her immediate response to the crisis.
The Puppies and Golf Community, run by Balionis, has been mobilized to help those who have been affected by the LA fires. Three rescue shelters will be erected soon for those who are in serious need. Pasadena Humane, which is part of her rescue mission, is also doing incredible work by sending help calls all over social media. Balionis has announced a help of $20,000 to this institute to give more leverage to their mission.
Apart from this, the ‘A Wish for Animals’ charity which is run by Toni, will get $5000 as a donation. Not only that but $5000 worth of items have also been added to their wishlist. People can help sell those items so that the charity can add further amounts to help the affected people.

Amanda Balionis also working with Amazing Strays charity which is bringing a lot of dogs from LA to San Diego, who need homes. This charity will also get $5000 from Balionis as immediate help. Items worth $5000 have also been added as the charity is in desperate need of food.
So, in total $40,000 has been put aside as a first wave of help by Balionis. Plus, on Tuesday, a Big Block party is also happening at Mavericks Beach Club in San Diego. All the proceeds raised from this event will also go directly to those impacted by the LA fires.
Puppies and Golf was founded by Amanda Balionis in 2020 for animal welfare. It is a nonprofit organization that supports and promotes animal rescue centers across the US. The charity connects rescued dogs with dog-loving homes and also assists military veterans through canine companionship.
Last year, the organization, on its fourth anniversary raised $40,000 through its social media campaigns. In addition, it also raised $35,000 more to aid animals affected by Hurricane Helene. Amanda Balionis’ constant engagement on social media has been her main tool to support her efforts.
