Amanda Balionis recently went out for a round of golf at the prestigious Soleta Golf Club. The CBS reporter shared a picture of the course with her 320 thousand followers on her Instagram.
Balionis posted a picture of her Soleta Golf Club scorecard with the signature pencil against the backdrop of the course on her Instagram stories. The golf club located in Myakka City, Florida, is a private country club with a membership fee of $120,000 (per Naples Golf Guy).

The Soleta Golf Club was designed by Nick Price, a world-renowned golf course architect, and opened up for full play in November 2024. The 7,400-yard-long 18-hole championship course spans over 530 acres of land surrounded by oak and pine trees and freshwater marshes.
The famed David Leadbetter designed world-class practice facility spans over 36 acres. Not only does the club include 93 luxury accommodations, but it also features Har-Tru tennis courts, pickleball courts, lagoon-style pools, and more. Luxury residences are now available for purchase with a starting price of a whopping $3 million.

Amanda Balionis was born on June 20, 1985, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At the age of ten, she relocated with her family to Lancaster but currently resides in San Diego, California.
She began playing golf at the age of nine while also developing a love for swimming and volleyball. Balionis once told Golf Digest that she enjoyed playing golf with her family growing up and also competed in junior golf for a couple of years.
She said (via Golf Monthly):
"I played junior golf for a few years; my parents loved playing with me, but the minute I had to carry my own bag and walk nine holes by myself, I was like, 'Eh, you know what, I'm gonna go join the swim team.'"
Balionis graduated from Hofstra University in Long Island, New York, in 2008 with a degree in broadcast journalism. She had attended Kutztown University to play Division II volleyball before moving to New York.
After graduating, the journalist reconnected with golf and began working for the PGA Tour. She then joined Callaway as a digital content reporter. She went on to join the CBS Sports Network golf team in 2017 and has since covered every single edition of the Augusta Masters.
Not only does Balionis cover golf for CBS, but she also covers the NFL. In an interview with Golf Monthly, she revealed that her dream once was to become an NFL sideline reporter.
