CBS Sports reporter Amanda Balionis is enjoying her vacation in Canada. The American journalist recently took some time out for a hike at Grouse Grind Trail in Vancouver but almost regretted her decision after completing just one-fourth of the journey.

Balionis, who has 322K followers on Instagram, posted a slew of videos and pictures from her adventurous outing on her social media account. The first clip showed her climbing stairs. Then, she filmed herself walking amid the trees while filming the beauty of the area.

“No better way to see new parts of the world than by getting your a** kicked by it😅 #grousegrind,” she wrote.

However, she soon doubted her decision after reading warning signs of the trail’s difficulty.

“That was the easy section. Now comes the hard part. The trail gets steeper and narrower from here,” said the warning sign.

Reading the sign, Balionis wrote on her Instagram story:

“Wondering at this point if mistakes were made.”

Nevertheless, she made it to the top and celebrated with a victory selfie. She posted a picture standing in front of the Grouse Grind sign with the caption, “Done.”

Amanda Balionis had a memorable outing in Vancouver and hopes to visit the place again.

“Vancouver, you’re amazing and I can’t wait to come back,” she wrote.
