Amanda Balionis is currently enjoying the holidays with her family and friends. She has not worked on the PGA Tour since the regular season concluded in August. Balionis shifted to cover the NFL and revealed she was taking a break from golf and will return once the PGA Tour's new season kicks off in January 2025.
She shared the news on Instagram and said she loves this game and loves working in sports.

The 2025 PGA Tour season is all set to begin next week on January 2nd with the Sentry at the Kapalua Plantation Course in Maui, Hawaii.
When did Amanda Balionis join CBS?
Amanda Balionis graduated from Hofstra University in Long Island, New York, in 2008. She majored in broadcast journalism and started her career in sports media immediately.
Eventually, Balionis joined CBS in 2017 and became a popular name in the golfing world. Before joining CBS, the 39-year-old broadcaster worked at Callaway Golf as an in-house reporter and produced digital content for one of the leading golf equipment manufacturing companies.
Apart from golf, Balionis loves puppies and runs an NGO named Puppies & Golf. She started this non-profit in 2020 to help dogs in need and also help people understand the advantages and health benefits of having a dog in their lives.
Since 2020, they have donated over $150,000 to shelters and animal welfare organizations across the United States.
