LIV golfers aren't playing at the PNC Championship 2024. The PNC Championship is the year's wholesome event, where PGA and LPGA golfers pair up family members like sons, daughters, or parents. This year, the tournament will take place at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida on December 21-22.
LIV golfers won't be a part of the competition like last year, because they are banned from attending PGA Tour events. LIV boss Greg Norman last played in the tournament in 2020, where he finished at T9 with a score of 18 under.
The 2024 PNC Championship has a star-studded lineup headlined by Charlie and Tiger Woods. Last year, Team Woods finished at T5 with 19 under in total. Bernhard Langer and Jason Langer, the defending champions, are also returning to the event. In 2023, Team Langer finished with 25 under.
Other prominent participants include Nelly Korda and Petr Korda, Annika Sorenstam and Will McGee, Padraig Harrington and Paddy Harrington, and more. Here's the entire field of the PNC Championship:

Tiger Woods describes his thoughts about the upcoming PNC Championship
Tiger Woods missed the 2024 Hero World Challenge, despite hosting it himself, after undergoing back surgery in September. However, he is unlikely to miss the PNC Championship, especially since a once-in-a-year family event. It's the only big event where the 15-time major winner gets to play with his son Charlie.
Woods expressed his exaltation for the upcoming week (via CBS Sports). He said:
“I'm very excited to head back to the PNC Championship next week with Charlie…Playing together is something we look forward to and it's always more special when you're surrounded by friends and family.”
He continued, “These are 20 of the best players in the world and I'm not sharp enough to compete against them at this level. So when I'm ready to compete and play at this level, then I will.”
Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods played at the PNC Championship four times before, but the pair haven't won the tournament yet.
