This week, the PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan is in the field to compete in the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. Ahead of the tournament, fans reacted to Jay Monahan's golf swing as he played a practice round with his partner Billy Horschel.

Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is a unique event on the DP World Tour where amateur golfers are paired with pros to compete in the 72-hole event. Despite having prominent names like Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm, and others in the field, the focus is on Monahan and Yasir Al-Rumayyan, who will play in the same group on day one.

During the practice round, NUCLRGOLF shared a video on their X (formerly Twitter) handle, showcasing Monahan's golf swing.

When will Jay Monahan tee off in the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship?

Jay Monahan has teamed up with Billy Horschel for the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The duo will compete together for the three rounds, as there is a cutline in place after 54 holes, with only the top 20 ranked teams moving into the final day.

For round one, Monahan and Horschel are paired with Yasir Al-Rumayyan and Dean Burmester on the Carnoustie Golf Course.

The duo is paired with Rory McIlroy and Gerry McIlroy at the Kingsbarns Golf Course for the second round. For the third round, they will play with Louis Oosthuizen and Johann Rupert at St. Andrews.

If Monahan and Horschel can remain in the top 20 after three days, they will play their final round at St. Andrews with pairings based on their rankings.
