Max Homa recently posted about his kid's love for honeydew and jokingly expressed concern about his growing obsession with the fruit.
Homa, a six-time winner on the PGA Tour, is also one of the most popular golfers on social media. Known for his humorous posts on X, he regularly interacts with his over 686K followers.
On Tuesday, December 31, Homa took to X to share his 'concern' regarding his two-year-old son, Cam Andrew.
"My kid really likes honeydew," he wrote. "At what point do I start to worry?"
For those unfamiliar, Homa and his wife, Lacey Croom, welcomed their son, Cam Andrew, in October 2022. Earlier this year, he was also spotted at the Par 3 Contest during the Masters Tournament, where he joined his parents at Augusta National.
What's next for Max Homa?
Max Homa will be in action this week at the Sentry 2025, which will be played from Thursday, January 2 to Sunday, January 5, at the Kapalua Resort's Plantation Course.
Homa is paired with Tony Finau and Sahith Theegala for the first round of the Sentry 2025. The trio will tee off on Thursday at 11:27 am HST as the penultimate group.
Homa has a decent record at Kapalua, having finished in the top 25 in each of his four starts. The T3 finish in 2023 was his best result so far. In terms of recent form, he has struggled a bit, with just three top-10 finishes in 2024. He was last seen at the DP World Tour's Nedbank Golf Challenge in December, where he was defending his title and aiming for his first win in a year.
The 34-year-old golfer began his title defense strong with a 6-under 66 in the opening round, but his performance faltered over the following days. He posted scores of 75, 72, and 75 in the subsequent rounds, finishing at even par after 72 holes. Homa tied for 14th, five strokes behind the winner, Johannes Veerman.
Max Homa had a mixed season on the PGA Tour, where he struggled to win even once. While he missed just four cuts in 22 starts, he only made three top-10s. As a result, he slipped to 40th in the OWGR by the end of the season. The T3 finish at the Masters Tournament, his best result at Augusta National, was the only bright spot last year.
