Viktor Hovland was the subject of some hilarious comments on Twitter after wearing a bold J. Lindeberg outfit at the 2023 PGA Championship. The tournament's second-round leader was dressed in branded clothing and was seen in distinctive orange trousers on Friday and an orange t-shirt on Thursday.

The Norwegian golfer confessed that he was paid for his attire and that he did not mind wearing it even though people mocked him. Hovland stated in an interview following the second round on Friday:

"Well, J. Lindeberg, they give me this stuff and pay me money to do so, so I just show up and wear what they want me to wear."

Viktor Hovland has a high chance of winning at the 2023 PGA Championship. However, it won't be a bed of roses for him. The Norwegian golfer needs to maintain his lead in the next two rounds to take home the trophy.

Hovland last won a title at the 2022 World Hero Challenge and is looking forward to the first trophy of the new year. He is in the lead at the 2023 PGA Championship alongside Scottie Scheffler and Corey Conners.
