Billy Horschel opened up about his recent outings on the PGA Tour in a recent post on social media. The American golfer started his 2025 campaign on the PGA Tour at The Sentry and then played in two more events. This week, he will be making his debut on TGL.
In the upcoming matchup of Tiger Woods's golf series, Atlanta Drive Golf Club will play against New York Club. Ahead of the game, Billy Horschel shared a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account reflecting on his last few outings on the PGA Tour while asking fans to tune in to watch the TGL series. He wrote:
"First 3 tournaments of my @pgatour season are done. Nothing special to run home and tell my mom about in the results department but like where my game is and heading. After 2 of my worst weeks putting, it was nice to feel comfortable with the putter and see a few go in.
"Week off and then back for another 3 week stretch starting at Pebble. Make sure to tune in on Tuesday night at 7pm on ESPN for @TGL. @atlantadrivegcfinally takes center stage. @JustinThomas34Patrick Cantlay!," he added.
The TGL team features only three players in a team. For Atlanta Drive Golf Club, Horschel will be joined by Patrick Cantlay and Justin Thomas, while for the New York Golf Club, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler, and Cameron Young will be playing this week in the event. The game is scheduled for January 22.
The TGL series began with its first matchup on January 7, and this will be the third game of the season. The New York Golf Club previously played against The Bay Commons on January 7 but lost the game 2-9.
Following their defeat, the New York Golf Club is looking to improve their performance in the upcoming match. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Drive Golf Club will be playing its first game this week.
