The BMW PGA Championship is one of the most prominent DP World Tour events. It is one of the showcase events on tour, and it usually has a stacked field of competitors.

It is big for Ryder Cup eligibility, so plenty of good golfers sign up to play in it. Here's who has won the last 10 times this tournament has occurred.

Previous champions of the BMW PGA Championship

The reigning champion for the BMW PGA Championship is Ryan Fox, who won the 69th iteration of this yearly tournament by shooting -18. That was just enough to fend off Aaron Rai and Tyrrell Hatton by one stroke.

In 2022, the victor was Shane Lowry. The Irishman shot 17 under par and outdid Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy by one stroke. The year before that, Billy Horschel was the winner. He shot -19, one stroke ahead of Laurie Canter, Jamie Donaldson, and Kiradech Aphibarnrat.

Tyrrell Hatton, now on LIV Golf, won this event in 2020. The golfer shot 19 under, four strokes clear of Victor Perez. Winner Danny Willett's -20 was three shots clear of Jon Rahm in 2019.
