Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims uses Simone Biles gold medal meme in a self-troll on Instagram

Brooks Koepka's wife Jena Sims recently shared a meme featuring Olympic gymnast Simone Biles. The meme features Biles holding a gold medal with the text "me if there was a gold medal for saying 'like' too much" acknowledging a common verbal habit that many of us can relate to.

Sims shared the meme on her Instagram story and wrote:

Koepka got married to actress and model Sims in 2022. They became parents to a boy in July 2023, naming him Crew.

The 2024 Paris Olympics are scheduled from July 24 to August 11. Simone Biles won gold for the US in the all-around team event. Several memes of Biles were seen on social media after the win. The men's golf games will be played from August 1 to 4 while the women's event will be held from August 7 to 10 at Le Golf National.

Brooks Koepka, however, is not playing as he didn't fulfill the qualifying criteria for the Olympics. The former World No. 1 is currently ranked 55th, and only the top 4 players from a country qualify. He was positioned 43rd after the US Open T26 finish, at the cutline date. Koepka joined LIV Golf in 2022 and he doesn't receive any OWGR points for those games.

A look at Brooks Koepka's performance in 2024

Koepka has had a great 2024 season. He claimed his fourth LIV event this year at LIV Golf Singapore, winning by two strokes over Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith. In 11 starts, he has had two top-5 finishes and seven top-25 finishes on LIV Golf. He's currently positioned 10th in LIV Golf's individual standings. Koepka's team, Smash GC, is positioned 7th.

His best performances of the year include a win at LIV Golf Singapore and a T5 finish at Mayakoba. Koepka's notable finishes include a T9 at LIV Golf Adelaide, a T9 at LIV Golf Houston, a T12 at both LIV Golf Jeddah and LIV Golf Las Vegas.

Koepka, the five-time Major winner, failed to make a mark in the four Majors this year. He finished tied at 46th position at Augusta National Golf Club and he tied at 26 at both Valhalla and Pinehurst. He finished tied at 43rd position at Royal Troon Golf Club.
