Brooks Koepka and his wife Jena Sims recently expressed their love for Cristiano Ronaldo on social media. They did so by making their son pose in the star's Portugal jersey.

Brooks Koepka will be in Andalucia this week for the LIV Golf Valderrama, which will be played at the Real Club Valderrama from Friday, July 12. Cristiano Ronaldo was in Germany recently for Euro 2024, where Portugal were knocked out in the quarter-finals by France.

Before traveling to Andalucia, the Koepka family flew to Portugal for vacation. On Monday, July 8, Jena Sims shared a story on Instagram with Brooks Koepka holding Crew in his arms. The Koepka junior was sporting Ronaldo's iconic No. 7 Portugal jersey.

This was an adorable tribute by the Koepka family to Ronaldo, who might have played his last match in an international jersey. However, Portugal's coach Roberto Martínez feels it's too soon to comment on that.

The five-time Ballon d'Or champion featured in all five Euro 2024 games but failed to score. Moreover, he missed an extra-time penalty opportunity in the Round of 16 win against Slovakia but scored in the shootout win.

Following Portugal's exit, the former captain posted a heartfelt message on social media.

"We wanted more," Ronaldo wrote on X. "We deserved more. For us. For each one of you. For Portugal. We are grateful for everything you have given us and for everything we have achieved so far. On and off the field, I am sure that this legacy will be honored and will continue to be built. Together."

Ronaldo is the most prolific men's international scorer of all time, having scored 130 goals in 212 appearances for Portugal. He also captained them in their successful run at Euro 2016.

When will Brooks Koepka play next?

Brooks Koepka is set to compete at the LIV Golf Andalucia this week, which will be played from Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14. This will be the last LIV event ahead of the Open Championship, the season's last major championship.

The 34-year-old golfer has registered one win and three top-10s this season and is sixth in the season standings. His team Smash GC is fifth with one win.

Last year, Koepka had great results at the major championships. However, this time, he has failed to make even one top-25 finish. He has registered T26 finishes at the PGA Championship and the US Open.
