Bryson DeChambeau calls 2025 'a movie' in his New Year post

Bryson DeChambeau has kicked off the new year with an optimistic post on X, writing that he expects 2025 to be "a movie." DeChambeau had a splendid 2024 season and won his second major championship.

The 31-year-old won by the US Open after Rory McIlroy missed two putts in last three holes at Pinehurst No. 2. In the post, DeChambeau wrote:

"2025 is about to be a movie… Happy new year everyone, let’s make it the best year yet!"

The post received more than 120k views and more than 4000 likes within a few hours on the social media platform.

DeChambeau's movie reference could also be a nod to his cameo in the upcoming golf movie "Happy Gilmore 2."

Further, apart from the US Open win, he also helped his LIV Golf team win thrice at Jeddah, Hong Kong and Chicago. His team topped the LIV Golf season-long team points standings.

Further, in a recent post on Instagram, he declared 2024 to be his "best year."

In the short clip, he included his highlights of the 2024 season which included golf swings before winning the US Open and his winning putt. The clip also contained clips from his "Break 50" challenge with Donald Trump and John Daly. He also included a recent clip from his "hole-in-one" challenge over his house.
