Bryson DeChambeau recently revealed that he believes fans often talk more about his YouTube presence than his victories on the golf course. In an exclusive interview with the Golf Channel's 5 Clubs Golf on Sirius XM's PGA Tour Radio, the LIV Golf star shared how his journey on social media has become a significant part of his life.

The Crushers GC captain was surprised to find that fans often bring up his YouTube channel more than his two major championship victories at the US Open, which is a testament to the influence of his digital presence. DeChambeau said (via YouTube 12:00 - 13:00):

"I've learned how to become more of who I am. Learn more about who I truly am as a person. Those are the biggest things that I've learned from YouTube golf. I can't tell you how many times I see the reaction of people in the comments and what not and just in interactions when I go to a tournament when they're talking about my YouTube channel more than they are like a US Open win. It's really inspiring to showcase a different side of the game that's not been previously dove into."

In the interview, the host inquired about the lessons he learnt from his fans in shaping his identity. The former PGA Tour star noted that his YouTube channel is about more than just content creation, it's about forming connections with his audience.

"When I'm looking at the fans, I see a person. I see someone that wants to be entertained and wants to feel a part of a person's life and creating that empathetic loyal relationship between each and every individual is so important to me now because it's made me a better person ultimately. I've learned a lot from from my fans. They've given me that opportunity to discover more of who I am and also help me understand what others want from the game."
