Bryson DeChambeau, one of golf's most innovative players, is championing a shift that he believes will ultimately benefit the world of professional golf. In a recent interview with Golf Channel's 5 Clubs Golf on SiriusXM's PGA Tour Radio, the LIV Golf star talked about the role the Saudi-based league will play in reshaping the sport's ecosystem.

"I feel like there’s space in this ecosystem, this great game of golf, to have multiple ways to consume professional golf and I really think it’s just an additive at the end of the day. Ultimately, will be an additive. We’re obviously working the details out of that right now, but long story short, this disruption I think will ultimately be good for the professional game. It’s just going to take a little bit of time."

DeChambeau was referring to the role of LIV Golf and other new ventures in creating more opportunities for growth and diversity in how the game of golf is consumed. The 2-time US Open winner has grown massively in the industry with his content on YouTube.

With over 1.6 million subscribers on his channel, the Crushers GC captain regularly puts out entertaining golf content featuring challenges and other celebrities. He feels that by making the move to LIV Golf, he's able to engage with his fans better on YouTube.

DeChambeau and The Crushers GC announced their apparel partnership with Reebok last month. The two-time major championship winner believes that it was the result of determined content creation.

"I got a tremendous opportunity over here at LIV Golf to promote my YouTube channel and promote The Crushers of what I’ve been trying to create for the past couple of years. It’s been an upward battle to get to where we’re at today. But you can see the likes of The Crushers and Reebok obviously doing what they’re doing with us now. And you know, the dominoes are kind of starting to fall, which is fun to see the transition of companies and how they view LIV Golf."

According to DeChambeau's vision, the LIV Golf league is not just a competitor of the PGA Tour. It's also a means to diversify the ways in which golf is experienced. He explained that while the "disruption" could bring about monumental changes, it will take time before the industry adapts to it.

Bryson DeChambeau talks about Reebok's "disrupting sport culture"

Early in December 2024, Reebok announced a partnership with The Crushers GC and its captain Bryson DeChambeau. The brand will be the official sponsor of the team's footwear and apparel.

In an exclusive interview with LIV Golf, the former PGA Tour star revealed that the main reason behind signing with Reebok was their alignment with "disrupting" the sport industry.

"I’m proud to partner with Reebok to usher in the brand’s return to golf. When looking for a partner for Crushers GC, we wanted to find a brand that aligns with our vision for golf’s future and has the ability to increase visibility of the game around the world, and Reebok was the perfect fit. With a great legacy in disrupting sport culture, I’m excited to see what we can do together to push the sport of golf to new heights."

Reebok will officially launch the collaboration in March 2025. With the world-class golfer as the face of the brand, they will launch the all new Nano Golf performance shoe.
