Bryson DeChambeau recently spoke about Keegan Bradley's role in the Ryder Cup. The LIV golfer is in contention to be part of the US Ryder Cup for 2025. He is currently ranked third in the auto-qualification list, just below Xander Schauffele and Scottie Scheffler.

Recently, Bryson DeChambeau appeared in an episode of 5 Clubs on Golf Channel, in which he opened up about the developments in the game and also about Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley. DeChambeau lauded Bradley, saying:

"Keegan has been very responsive to numbers players over here, and it's quite fun to see him, in a sense, back us but give us the opportunity to say, 'Hey, if you play well, you're going to be there,' and really gives us a bit of momentum to feel like, okay, this year we got to perform. Every major we have performed, no matter what. We're gonna be playing for our country again. I think that is so cool about that opportunity."

Notably, Bryson DeChambeau won the second Major of his career in 2024 at the US Open. He registered a one-shot victory over Rory McIlroy, and this helped him boost his ranking in the auto-qualification list for the Ryder Cup. In 2023, Brooks Koepka was the only LIV golfer to be part of the biennial tournament.

Bryson DeChambeau opens up on golf's "ecosystem"

Since the inception of the Saudi-backed LIV Golf, the golf industry has witnessed dynamic changes. Recently, in an interview with 5 Clubs, Bryson DeChambeau opened up about the golf ecosystem and how LIV Golf has contributed towards the promotion of the game at a global level. He said (at 11:22):

"I feel like there’s space in this ecosystem, this great game of golf, to have multiple ways to consume professional golf and I really think it’s just an additive at the end of the day. Ultimately, will be an additive. We’re obviously working the details out of that right now, but long story short, this disruption I think will ultimately be good for the professional game. It’s just going to take a little bit of time."

His YouTube channel has witnessed a significant boost in subscribers. His golf series, Break 50, made the headlines in 2024, for which he collaborated with Donald Trump and other professional sports stars. He has around 1.67 million subscribers on YouTube.

Notably, with the conclusion of the third season of the Saudi-backed LIV Golf, the players are having plenty of time away from the greens. The fourth season of the series will return in February 2025.
