Bryson DeChambeau has successfully ventured into the world of golf content creation. The American golfer boasts over 1.3 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, and during a recent press conference, he shared his goal of reaching the younger generation through his videos.

In a pre-tournament press conference before this week’s LIV Golf Greenbrier event, DeChambeau shared insights into his content creation journey. The 2024 US Open winner said his YouTube "Break 50 Challenge" helps expose golf to a younger generation, as the fans can see the players' personalities and the players can be "who [they] are." He added that as LIV Golf was also trying to reach out to younger viewers and fans, his relationship with the organization was a "symbiotic relationship":

"It just exposes golf to a younger generation on YouTube and gets more people involved in the game of golf. My goal in all of that is to bring viewers, young viewers, to LIV Golf, to the teams, to all of us out here, and I think that's the main important part of it that a lot of people don't understand is that it's trying to reach a new generation of potential golfers," DeChambeau said (via ASAP Sports).
"That's what LIV is doing. That's what I'm trying to accomplish alongside LIV and with LIV as a partner, as well. It's a symbiotic relationship where we can exponentiate the game of golf in a really cool, unique way," he added.

DeChambeau has started a series of videos titled "Break 50" on YouTube, collaborating with several golfers and other renowned personalities. He has already played the Break 50 challenge with Paige Spiranac, Sergio Garcia, and former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Notably, his video with Trump was viewed more than 11 million times, significantly boosting his following. DeChambeau recently released a YouTube video with PGA Tour Champions star John Daly for another "Break 50" challenge.

Bryson DeChambeau hints at launching a second YouTube Channel

In the same press conference at the LIV Golf Greenbrier event, Bryson DeChambeau also spoke about launching a second YouTube channel. When asked if he had plans for another channel, the LIV golfer said, "There are future plans for that." He went on to explain that his goal is to attract more audience to his main channel while also developing a secondary channel.

"There are future plans for that. We want to continue to grow that audience and inspire younger a generation, continue that on my main channel. For a secondary channel there's always that options, especially in different languages and whatnot. That's a totally different option for us that we're looking into, as well," DeChambeau said (via ASAP Sports).

DeChambeau will tee off at the LIV Golf Greenbrier event this week, starting on August 16. As the defending champion, he will be focused on retaining the title. The event will take place over three days and conclude on Sunday, August 18.
