Bubba Watson decides to donate a house after shooting a hole-in-one at the Indonesian Masters

On Saturday, November 2, Bubba Watson made a hole-in-one during the third round of the BNI Indonesian Masters. Following this feat, he matched the donation to contribute to the Asian Tour's charity for housing the needy.

During the third round of the Indonesian Masters, Watson made an ace on the par-3 11th hole. The ace meant that Habitat for Humanity would donate a house to a family in need in the country.

In the post-round interview, Bubba Watson spoke about his ace and added that it was special to be part of this humanitarian cause. As per Sports Illustrated, he said,

"The game of golf has helped tremendously around the world. For all the charity things that golf has brought to the table, it's very special to be a part of that."

"It's an honor and I heard there was another hole-in-one right behind me, so somebody needs to match that so there'll be a couple families that will be helped out. So it's an amazing thing that golf could can do that for somebody, and be able to help people," he added.

This was Bubba Watson's sixth ace of his career. In addition, Thailand’s Phachara Khongwatmai also made an ace on the same hole. According to the Asian Tour, it was only the fourth time in its history that two players made an ace on the same hole during the same round.
