Can you drink alcohol at The Open Championship 2024?

The Open Championship will kick off on July 18 at the Royal Troon, and the audience might want to enjoy booze while watching the game. The good news is that Royal Troon will allow spectators to drink alcohol but not the players on the course. But the public cannot bring their alcohol from outside. They'll have to purchase that from the venue itself.

Two days back, the Open Championship booze menu was made public and the high costs of the alcohol didn't make the people happy. However, the menu includes a range of alcoholic drinks. It has a Whitstable Bay Pale Ale, Prosecco Extra Dry, Orchard View Cider, Special Edition Royal Troon Whiskey, Special Edition Royal Troon Gin, and more.

Apart from these, there will be a range of cuisines and nonalcoholic beverages. There'll be coffee and dumplings to enjoy.

The menu of the Open Championship also includes vegetarian food, vegan food, and water bottles can be filled at the venue. While the Open Championship allows so many things, it has a few restrictions too. Fireworks are strictly prohibited inside the venue and nobody can bring weapons, even if it's as simple as pepper spray.

No drones or cameras will be allowed inside the gates of the Open Championship. Only mobile phones are allowed but filming the match is barred. Even selfie sticks and speakers cannot be used inside. Several other things are frowned upon by the Open Championship organizers and cannot be brought during the game.
