Legion XIII captain Jon Rahm and Torque GC captain Joaquin Niemann will next play at LIV Golf Chicago, the final Individual Championship event of the league, which will take place from September 13 to 15 at Bolingbrook Golf Club. The two sit next to one another on the LIV Golf’s point list.
Rahm, a debutant in the LIV league in 2024, tops the list with 195.17 points, 2.97 points ahead of Niemann, who has completed three seasons in the league and has 192.20 points.
Rahm flaunts a single victory in the league as of now. But Niemann, in the second position, has two tournament wins at LIV Mayakoba and LIV Jeddah from his first three starts, while Rahm only managed top-five finishes in those tournaments.
Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann are set to go head-to-head at LIV Golf Chicago. Following the match, whoever sits atop the points list will get the Individual Championship title. A similar scenario will take place for the Team Championship as well.
Crushers GC and Legion XIII occupy the first and second positions on the points list with 176.5 and 176 points, respectively. Whichever team will end up at the top of the points list following the LIV Golf Team Championship in Dallas from September 20 to 22 will be declared the winner.
