On Sunday, September 29th, Team USA won their 10th consecutive Presidents Cup by beating the International Team at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Quebec, Canada. American golfer Keegan Bradley was the man behind delivering the winning point for Team USA.

After the tournament ended, Team USA captain Jim Furyk was part of a press conference at the Royal Montreal Golf Club. In this press conference, a reporter reminded Furyk of the hard work he put into winning the Presidents Cup and asked him how he felt now that he is a Presidents Cup-winning captain.

Furyk answered (via ASAP Sport):

"It's a lot of fun. Tab and I love these events. We love the camaraderie. We've put a lot of heart and soul into it. Ultimately these players were amazing. It was a really good group of 12, an easy bunch. I had great leadership at the top. They made the captain's job really easy, and these guys played their hearts out this week, and they really played well on the back nine. We talked about being a dog all week, being the tougher team. I just feel like those back nine holes if you looked at how many holes won and lost, I've got to feel like we kind of owned the back nine this week, and that was the difference."

Team USA began the competition on a positive note when they pulled off their 5th clean sweep in Presidents Cup history in Round 1. However, the International Team gave a roaring response as they managed to pull off a clean sweep in Round 2. But, Rounds 3 and 4 belonged to Team USA, which ensured their victory.

Team USA's 2025 Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley also spoke about winning the Presidents Cup

Ahead of the 2024 Presidents Cup, Keegan Bradley found good form on the PGA Tour as he won the BMW Championship and later finished T21 in the Tour Championship. As mentioned above, Team USA also won the Presidents Cup after Bradley scored the winning point.

Like his captain, Jim Furyk, Bradley too was part of a press conference after Team USA's victory. In this press conference, the 2024 BMW Championship winner detailed his experience of playing at the Royal Montreal Golf Club and recalled an incident from the 2014 edition of the Ryder Cup.

Bradley said:

"That was incredible. The last time I played, I was the point to lose the Ryder Cup. If this is my last round as a player — maybe it is — I'm happy with that. It's such an amazing atmosphere, I'm so proud of the team and proud to be here."

Before this victory in Canada, Keegan Bradley had last appeared for Team USA in the 2014 Ryder Cup. In that competition, Bradley lost a crucial point, which led to Europe retaining the title. However, Bradley will have a chance to avenge the loss as he will captain Team USA in the 2025 edition of the Ryder Cup.
