CBS kicks off "Majors season" early by airing the first Masters Tournament 2025 TV commercial

Masters is one of the four major championships in golf and is probably the most prestigious golf tournament. Every pro golfer dreams of winning or at least getting a chance to compete in this event.

This tournament is usually played in the first or second week of April over four days, with thousands of fans eagerly waiting for the Masters week. CBS is the official broadcasting partner of this prestigious event, and they have already started to create buzz as they aired their first promo for the 2025 Masters.

CBS shared a short 10-second clip that takes us through the Augusta National along with the iconic Masters theme playing in the background.

They shared this video on their X and wrote:

"Coming in April, a tradition unlike any other."

The 2025 Masters will be played from April 10th to 13th at Augusta National. The upcoming edition of the tournament is special as Fred Ridley, Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament, announced their partnership with Bank of America and CBS Sports, expanding the coverage hours on Saturday and Sunday for the upcoming edition via the Masters website.

"Through Bank of America’s support of our community initiatives and amateur events, they have become an impactful and committed partner in our organization’s mission in Augusta and around the globe," said Ridley while talking about Bank of America.

Furthermore, talking about CBS expanding their coverage, Ridley was pleased as this will mean more live golf for fans.

"Alongside our friends at the network, we are pleased to extend the Tournament’s weekend coverage and ultimately deliver more live golf for Masters fans," he added.

Who won the 2024 Masters?

Scottie Scheffler convincingly won the 2024 Masters as he carded -11 for the event and registered a victory by four strokes. Ludvig Aberg finished four strokes behind him at -7, while Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa and Max Homa finished at T3 with -4. The conditions at Augusta National were slightly tricky, with only eight golfers remaining under par.
