TikTok, the popular social media app, already went dark in the U.S. in the later part of Saturday. The Chinese-owned application was banned under the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act. This law hinders US companies from serving content to the Chinese platform unless they sell themselves to a buyer from US or its allies. ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, reportedly refused to find a buyer.

Charley Hull never had an official TikTok account. The 28-year-old professional golfer and influencer mainly posts golf-related content on her Instagram. Besides that, she has 92.4K followers on her official X account.
