Charley Hull sits at the bottom of top 10 as 2024 women’s world ranking released ahead of AIG open

English professional golfer Charley Hull is having an up-and-down season on the LPGA Tour this year. In the 11 events she has played on the tour, Hull has registered one top 5, two top 10, and three top 20 finishes. However, she has yet to win a tournament this year.

Hull's next outing on the LPGA Tour is scheduled to be at the LPGA AIG Women's Open. Ahead of this tournament, the Women's World Rankings were released in which Hull finds herself in the tenth spot behind the likes of Celine Boutier and Rose Zhang.

Notably, Hull's 2024 season has been marred by injury and illness. She withdrew from the Aramco Team Series event due to a shoulder injury and also had to withdraw from the Ford Championship due to illness after playing two rounds.

However, ahead of the LPGA AIG Women's Open this week, the 28-year-old seems to be in good form as she registered a 5th-place finish in the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open. Hull scored 70-68-69-73 to achieve this position and took a cash prize home of $66,918.
